Of the many and varied projects that Richardson and Peat have undertaken, the contract from a construction management company to construct and erect four penthouse apartments on top of the existing roof of a block of apartments facing the Albert Hall in London, this project was probably the most difficult in terms of logistics and construction.
Working on the sixth floor of the building with limited areas to work or store materials, the answer was to undertake the offsite construction of each section of the building for craning into place.
With Richardson and Peat's understanding of planning and with detailed timing of deliveries into the centre of London the build was completed without issue and on time.
